Community Guidelines

Peaceful action only. No exceptions.

We provide the tools. Members organize. Nobody uses the Club to incite violence of any kind.

Violence is never allowed.

Not as a joke, not as a hint, not against anyone or anything. Content that incites, threatens, celebrates or plans violence is removed, and the account behind it can be suspended or banned. Our mark throws flowers. So do we.

Not allowed

Where the line is.

  • Inciting, encouraging, threatening, celebrating or planning violence of any kind, against any person, group or property.
  • Threats, intimidation or harassment of anyone, including the people and companies a campaign is about.
  • Publishing anyone's private information, such as a home address, family details or contact details, or urging people to show up at a private home.
  • Calls to break the law, including vandalism, sabotage, trespass or disrupting emergency services.
  • Hate speech or attacks on people for who they are.
  • Deliberate misinformation, impersonation and spam.

Welcome

What the Club is for.

  • Choosing not to buy from a company, and asking others to join you.
  • Petitions, polls, letters and lawful, peaceful events.
  • Criticism of public figures and businesses, stated honestly.
  • Sharing sources, guides and know-your-rights information.

Enforcement

What happens when someone breaks the rules.

Removed

Content that breaks the guidelines is taken down, and the author is told which rule it broke.

Suspended or banned

Accounts that break the rules can lose the ability to post or be removed from TheOne. Inciting violence is the fastest way out.

Reported by you

Every member can report a post, petition, poll, event or message with a reason, including violence.

This page is a summary. The full Community Guidelines, which every member agrees to, are in the Club.

Organize with a clear conscience.
